Solutions Group (PSG) for
Dover Fluid Management, a
segment within Dover
Corp. PSG comprises six
pump manufactures:
Blackmer, Wilden, Almatec,
Mouvex, Neptune and
Griswold. Douglas has 20
years of experience in the
pump industry, most recently as president and CEO of Peerless Pump
Co. He has also held several positions with the
Sulzer Group, Winterthur, Switzerland.

This new service models the compressor
performance, including the pressure drop

entire operating envelope. The information
provided by this System Performance Model
(SPM) program is crucial for owners and EPCs
to compare alternative capacity control
schemes, pulsation control solutions, and other
important design factors to ensure the design
specification is met, as well as evaluate different design options to determine an optimal design, the companies said.
The optimal design results in increased flow
and efficiency, better operating flexibility, and
accurate predictions of forces, rod loads, pin reversals and other key parameters. The System
Performance Model can be integrated with automated control and SCADA systems, enabling operators to more accurately run their machines
and achieve higher efficiency and safety, according to the companies.
